Get this straight- the guy with the muddy face in the BG is NOT drunk- he’s retarded..or I should say ‘developmentally delayed’…what with the chaos of post breakup Soviet Union people like this guy are likely living off the kindness of strangers..let’s not mock the retarded-there’s been way enough of that already
he is actually talking about a claim that has been made against the workers that they drink on the job, no joke…that’s what makes this even more amazing.
Here is a sloppy translation of the clip. Dudes came here to get paid for work they did. This is a constant problem, everyone lying to each other and cheating each other over miniscule amounts of money. And the alcohol problem there is severe precisely because of this. The poor man in the background probably is unable to find work and support his loved ones, I bet he finds himself spending the last Rubles on alcohol too often.

They last paycheck they gave for for …. the 6th of March, covering November’s month.
- And you worked, when?
The last month, November, the 17th of November.
- (inaudible) did you really wait a half year for your paycheck?
Yea.
- Why did you decide to (something something?) here today?
Oh, because there’s constant deception.
- Do you think it’s going to help?
Don’t know. (guy two - We’re hoping). Hoping on you..
saw this in pr-class and if i remember correctly, the guy is being interviewed about an accident in the mine and assures the reporter that nobody was drunk on the job, clearly being contradicted by the fellow in the background.
I was in Moscow about 20 years ago, and they had vending machines on the street that dispensed cups of Stoli vodka! they should install some of those outside churches here! attendance would spike….

Looks like they work at some sort of mining facility. Which explains the dirty face. And the drunkeness.
